Poor little misunderstood Capitalism
As seen in the Micheal Moor movie Capitalism:A Love Story many corporations are blamed for a lot of social issues that we are plagued with today. Which in a sense is true if you ask me. But Capitalism is not the one to blame. Capitalism is just an idea just like Communism. In theory both are good but where it turns sour is when humans are introduced into the equation. I believe capitalism is not all bad its actually really impressive when you think about it. The corruption that heads these greedy corporations is the true evil. Sadly humans are greedy by nature. Just to save a couple bucks these CEO's are willing to let thousands of people go unemployed. Just how dictators are willing to starve their population to fund their military. Yes I'm talking to you Kim Jong Un. See the trend here? Its not the idealism it self that plagues us but the people who are in charge. Take it as you will...
Entry #6 The M word
I have recently had an epiphany that we are ever changing beings. I have always said I have been the same dude since 8th grade. Until recently that is. I ran into some people I haven't spoken or seen in about 5 years. Being thankful they remembered me we chopped it up. As we casually conversed one of them mentioned the M word! Dun Dun Dun....
- "You have really matured since the last time we saw you."
That is one thing I have never ever imagined someone saying to me. I'm not one to be "mature" like ever! I have always been childish since I was a child...lol This is when it hit me. We will never be the same person we once were. As we go further in this journey called life we acquire new experiences and knowledge. This molds who we are today. Every thing we are is composed of the past. Slowly but surely my inner child is being sucked out by life; no matter how much I fight it. Sure I'm still childish compared to my peers but not how I used to be. This made me wonder in what other aspects of life have I changed in. Have you ever been told something that you didn't believe you were? But turns out you were...if so comment down below. Now enjoy this
Entry #5 University to offer more short classes
ASU has recently began to add more 7 1/2 week courses, according the article. I think this is phenomenal! Let me tell you from personal experience that these type of classes are worth the hard work. Having the opportunity to finish two courses in the same amount of time it takes to finish one traditional course; yeah it pretty awesome. Now it isn't easy by any means it is very time consuming. Half the time twice the work. So if you aren't into pulling all nighters doing homework or are just bad at time management this isn't for you...so yeah. I think everyone should at least give this type of class a chance. As humans we tend to take the easy way. I think we can never achieve anything great by taking the easy way out. Yeah that's coming from the ultimate procrastinator/underachiever to ever live. Take in mind I will take twice the amount of time to find the easy way instead of just completing the work in half the time. So if I can successfully complete these courses...why can't someone who is a tad more motivated?

Entry #4 Smile More
There are points in life when
everything seems to be just pure chaos. Especially now in that we are in college we have yet to
discover who we are. We roam these halls self-conscious. This nagging
sense of un-accomplishment linger in our heads. It doesn’t help when people
around us seem to have everything figured out. The reason behind this is that
we know our flaws, and in result, we think people notice them as much as we do.
When in reality so much is going on that people rarely notice subtle things
that seem like a giant flaw to us. Only if you knew how little people remember
simple, embarrassing mistakes that can occur during an interaction. Don’t believe
me then believe science. Ok that example might of been a bit over the top but a
crooked smile is less noticeable than a gorilla trust me. People seem invulnerable from a far we wear a mask in the public sphere; but if we look closely we can see the cracks that reveal who we really are. So why stress what people think about you? When in reality they think you are kind of...awesome. Focus on what ever is important to you instead of constantly worrying about people that will forget us once we leave.
Entry #3 Reporting is dead..R.I.P
What is slanted reporting? Some of you may ask. By definition it is considered reporting bias, and selective reporting. This is the act of presenting one side of the story with a little bit more flavor(That Flavor being biased yum). One great example of this is when the great, half human half genius Nancy Grace interviewed 2Chainz. Heres a little clip...ok really here's the clip. We clearly see how biased Nancy is...more like her production team. We can see how biased Nancy Grace is and no matter how good the rebuttal is she will not acknowledge the point being made. Circular reasoning much? Never go full potato! So this arises the question of why go full potato on TV? All this is done to appeal to their audience. Rhetoric anyone? These networks do a very good job at knowing their demographics. You know considering its their job and all. This is done by mostly all networks. Whether they try and appeal to Liberal Liz or Redneck Randall they have a target market in mind. So obviously one cannot blame acts of stupidity on the marijuana, yet they still do. They know this is what the audience wants. Reporters must report the news; not the news their audience wants to hear. The commercialization of the news is to blame...

Entry #2: Everything is temporary
As
humans, we tend to think the world the world revolves around us. When quite
frankly no matter how much I sound like the prophet
of doom, our lives are meaningless when compared to the
universe and it vastness. That also means that no matter how big of a problem
is to us...its minuscule in comparison. So that really put stuff into
perspective. Therefore, this leads me to this question. Why stress the small
stuff literally? I advise people to evaluate their situation and the locus of
control. This too will pass...the good and the bad. Everything is temporary
even the most permanent structures.*Plot twist* This isn't a reason
to have a negative outlook on life but a positive one. Take time to enjoy the
times of joy. Take time to be a better person and spread joy. Our time here on
earth is limited and far too short (not the rapper). Don't be afraid to be yourself. Because at the end of the day its the only thing we have.

Entry #1 The Blogilization 2.0
Blogs can be a very good way to communicate with people. But not only that we can inform, or entertain with blogs as well. We can share our point of view with people around the world in a matter of seconds. One of my favorite personal blogs is 9GAG. I can safely say I go on 9GAG everyday. When on 9GAG the word boredom never comes to mind. These types of blogs really help kill time when waiting for class.

One of my favorite professional/casual blogs has to WeAreSocial. This type of blog is really cool(at least to me). So what are they? According to them "We’re a new kind of agency that combines an innate understanding of social media with digital, PR, and marketing skills". This is where I like to go to see stuff related to social media. This actually makes marketing kind of fun.

One blog I just don't like is rosie.com. No disrespect but that blog is sooo boring...and I hate boring. Yet I found this blog very helpful when doing homework. Whenever I don't feel like doing homework I go and read some post on rosie.com. After a couple post away from dying of boredom I take out my homework...then a seemingly tedious task becomes the most exciting thing on earth. Thanks Rosie.
