Entry #9: Pink slime

If you haven't already heard pink slime is used in food. That's a prime example of where our future is headed if we don't do anything about it. Not even the meat is real nowadays. If natural meat can cause chronic diseases imagine what chemically altered meat can do? Ewww. All of this is the byproduct of capitalism. The corporations want to maximize profits by any means necessary. If that means using all of the animals parts so be it. It's clear they don't care about us or our health. I've said it a million times before it's all about the money. Money drives corporations to do some unethical practices. But why cant the government set standards? Corporations have a lot of influence in the political scene. Lobbying is the real problem; The government has their hands tied behind there backs. Afraid of losing the financial support they cave in into the corporations demands and veto laws that might hurt there sugar daddy's. All in all we cant depend on our own government to protect us.
